海洋沉积物中碘的早期成岩再迁移

摘要: 本文在笔者多年的南大洋沉积地球化学研究的基础上,从碘的相态变化着手,结合其他沉积地球化学参数,讨论了以南大洋区域为主的海洋沉积物中碘的早期成岩再迁移过程。结果表明,碘的早期成岩迁移过程并不像过去常认为的那样几乎完全由有机质控制。在研究区域的陆架和半深海表层沉积物中碘的吸附相和氧化物结合相平均分别可占23%和32%。表层沉积物I/Corg.值除与沉积有机的沉降条件有关外,还取决于沉积柱深处碘向上扩散的强度和沉积物的氧化还原条件。实验结果亦证实了氧化物结合相和吸附相在沉积柱中的再迁移可导致I/Corg.值随深度的增加而降低的现象。进一步的计算表明,沉积柱深处往上扩散的通量与海水中沉积碘的通量处于同一数量级水平,这可能是沉积岩贫碘的重要原因。基于上述讨论和计算结果,笔者提出了海洋沉积物中碘的早期成岩再迁移模式。
