Abstract: Different methods for instrumental determination of dissolved oxygen in seawater are discussed. Based on the principle of constant potential-chronoamperometry-this article presents a new method to determine the dissolved oxygen in seawater with considerable success. A new model electrochemical sensor has been designed for this purpose. The new sensor retains most of the Clark cell's components,but has the following modifications.
